This dataset lists the total population 18 years and older by census block in Connecticut before and after population adjustments were made pursuant to Public Act 21-13. PA 21-13 creates a process to adjust the U.S. Census Bureau population data to allow for most individuals who are incarcerated to be counted at their address before incarceration. Prior to enactment of the act, these inmates were counted at their correctional facility address.

The act requires the CT Office of Policy and Management (OPM) to prepare and publish the adjusted and unadjusted data by July 1 in the year after the U.S. census is taken or 30 days after the U.S. Census Bureau’s publication of the state’s data.

Note: On September 21, 2021, following the initial publication of the report, OPM and DOC revised the count of juveniles, reallocating 65 eighteen-year-old individuals who were incorrectly designated as being under age 18. After the DOC released the updated data to OPM, the report and this dataset were updated to reflect the revision.

This dataset contains statewide CAMA information for the parcels in Connecticut, created by the GIS office in accordance with CGS Sec. 4d-90-92 and 7-100L. It is part of the 2024 data collection effort, which involved gathering CAMA data from all municipalities through the Council of Governments.

The parcel layer is provided as a zipped folder containing a File Geodatabase, encompassing information from all 169 towns organized into a seamless parcel layer. The CAMA dataset include details about real property within Connecticut towns, which can be linked to the parcel data using a GIS software. The linking is facilitated through a designated column called ‘link’ that contains unique codes for each town and the designated values provided by the assessors and COGs.

While the data was gathered from Connecticut towns and submitted to CT OPM by the COGs, it’s important to note that not all towns adhered to the established schema. As a result, some attribute names, primary and secondary keys, naming conventions, and file formats were inconsistent. Cleaning and reorganization were performed to align the data with the state schema, though some limitations remain. This file was generated on 09/28/2024 from data collected throughout 2024.

Additional Note: Some towns were unable to verify which entries were suppressed pursuant to Connecticut General Statute Sec. 1-217. As a result, all related information has been fully suppressed. The owner and co-owner fields have been replaced with "Current Owner" and "Current Co-Owner," respectively, and the mailing address has been updated to reflect the location address.

This dataset contains information on locations that are leased by the State of Connecticut to meet its realty needs.

This inventory is currently maintained by the Office of Policy and Management (OPM) and information is self-reported by those State agencies that have custody and control over State owned buildings.

This data is updated each March.

This dataset includes interim municipal reporting information for the Municipal Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) Program for Connecticut municipalities for the period July 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021 on eligible expenses.
