As of May 2023, purchases of gasohol are subject to motor vehicle fuels tax at 25¢ per gallon.
Effective for sales made on or after July 1, 2008, sales of compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and liquefied natural gas (alternative fuels) are subject to motor vehicle fuels tax at 26¢ per gallon.
For FY 2023 & FY 2024, Purchases of diesel fuel are subject to motor vehicle fuels tax at 49.2¢ per gallon.
